Dream Car | Koenigsegg Agera R

The Koenigsegg Agera R is a machine of rare beauty and power. Back in September, the Koenigsegg Agera R set six new world records as proof of what an amazing car it really is. Now, the supercar has received an official Guinness approval for its 0-300-0 km/h record time of 21.19 seconds established at Koenigsegg’s proving ground in Ängelholm, Sweden on September 2, 2011.

Koenigsegg was the first Sports car manufacturer that took a step towards green technology when the bio fuel CCXR was introduced in 2007. The Agera R, based on the highly competitive Agera, follows in the footsteps of the CCXR as it also runs on E85 bio fuel.

Your total bill could add Koenigsegg Agera R in the 1.6 million dollar range, making this car one of the most expensive in the world.

The car was fitted with a ski box on the roof and even available with winter tires.

Ever since the Bugatti Veyron Super Sport set the record for fastest production car on the planet after setting an average top speed of 267 mph, we have been waiting for a car that can rightfully be called the Veyron Super Sport’s “kryptonite”. The top-of-the-line Bugatti Veyron Super Sport shares the same 8.0-liter, 16-cylinder engine, but with larger turbos and bigger intercoolers to push power to 1,183bhp, a jump of 196bhp. Torque increases from 921lb ft to 1106lb ft. This all means that it can reach a reported 267mph and that is faster than an Agera R.
